If I was able to build jarvis (16.1), recently I have been unable to build Krypton (17.1). Unable also, I was to build with sbo because of missing dependencies. I have contacted cttan the expert, with no reply. Actually, krypton does not work under kubuntu, but works well for me under manjaro or nemesis.

Does tweaking your mirrors help?

Updating the USM works ok , It just doesn't always let you download the files you find. Slackonly was the only one causing problems but alien bob has started it aswell.

Example:

USM -s flashplayer will show flashplayer-plugin-25.0.0.171-x86_64-1alien.txz

No such file for USM -g flashplayer-plugin-25.0.0.171-x86_64-1alien.txz

Yet you can download it directly

http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbu ... 1alien.txz

I've reported it in the above BUGS section but i'm unsure if it's Porteus or a repository problem.

Openelec is a distribution. You will have better chances on their forum:

@donald:
