Hi all,

as announced in the chat, I am offering the name Slack2Go to be taken for the 'unnamed OS'

Regards,

Slack2Go sounds too generic of a name.

If it were named something like Themis (the goddess of divine law and order) or Phoebe (goddess of the "bright" intellect and prophecy), it would make more sense to me, and be less generic of a name.

This is only my opinion though, so do as you will

Why use a name, that has already been used?
It needs to be original. I don't know why, but I hope others comment on this.

i agree original and unique should fit with the type of os that we use ( hopefully still modular/portable and pocket size )

Moved from "Development" to "General chat" as this topic is not development related.

When i think of slack2go i think of an existing distro. I like the name and it really suits our plight .... it's just that people might think, slack2go .... yeah i've seen that.

I like the greek, norse god names ... they are strong.

I like something short and sharp ... like Jax (just another X) or JamX (just another mother fuckin X) ... Kolivas BFS style. I really like Eos ... if canon hasn't patented it. The more i think the more i don't know what sounds good. I'll leave it up to you good folk.
How do i become super user?

there is a downside for this - they will be expecting same functions/features, etc. so they can be disappointed a little :)

in fact, I do not care for logo, name or color.
I know that I use Live slackware and thanks.
