I am almost finished hacking my Porteus KDE5...and this image of Google Earth on Porteus was a milestone to reach...

-For civil engineers is a valuable tool. You can visit a future project site without traveling to it 8),
-You can draw a path on the map and get a cross section of the surface, plus the distances, coordinates and elevations...,
-Have you ever seen the opposite side of the moon? Try it with GE: you will be surprised: The Moon is our planet defender! It catches meteorites that otherwise would hit the Earth!,
-GE is a convenient real time whether station, too; just select the corresponding button in the left panel..
-You can find an address in any for you unknown city, and make your plan how to reach it, or get a hotel near it..
-If you are an amateur pilot you will know how to approach the landing facilities before the air traffic controllers tell you what to do,
-if you have a yacht you can navigate to any port virtually, befor you get to there...
