64bit 2-in-1 Netbook Only Supports 32-bit UEFI NO CMS Option

Want to use my Porteus on the go as well but it seems that the Acer Aspire Switch 10e only supports 32bit EFI booting, and also has NO Legacy options in the BIOS, I have confirmed this with many other owners of this netbook as many have had great difficulty with booting off of anything else. Here's a workaround I found to boot into a Ubuntu LiveCD

https://gist.github.com/franga2000/2154d09f864894b8fe84

which works with ubuntu but not Porteus, and then this:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/392719/3 ... ot-support

I have tried these instructions and they do work for ubuntu, but sadly, not Porteus. It's probably the bootia32.efi, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this? I know next time I buy a netbook I'm gonna do some research first... :wall:

I have also tried 64-bit EFI but that hasn't worked either.. but i tried just in case :)

EDIT: It is a 64-bit system, just wanted to make that clear :p

You should adjust the topic's subject then.

I haven't tried this but you may want to try taking the EFI folder from a 64bit install and placing it in your 32bit ISO. If this doesn't work then you may need to to head over to the 'rEFInd' website and add the 32bit drivers from the precompiled binary into your 32bit install.
