You can take the kernel and 000-kernel from the latest Porteus Nemesis and use it. Be aware that you need to repack 000-kernel so that it has the path /lib/modules instead of /usr/lib/modules.

^ Or use neko's kernel updater to update your iso file with the latest kernel.
