Budgie desktop

I was playing with the budgie desktop tonight. Looks ok. As a bonus it is running on an archlinux based porteus.

Not bad, but also not extraordinary.
Do you see any advantages compared to xfce?

aha, kernel 4.1..in the next porteus version?

To be honest I was a little underwhelmed. The only advantages are SOME of the applications such as integration with online accounts. If you are a cloud user then gnome is quite good. The 4.1.6 kernel is very stable and has some advantages. The 4.2 kernel may be delayed as Junjiro has had no time to create aufs patches as yet.
