What is your browser? Are you happy with it?

Working with google-chrome on my older msi-340x is more an more laborious, painful and time consuming\. I thought that asking forum members about their happiness coefficient and the pros and cons with their browser could help me to trade google-chrome with some other browser. What do you say or rather write?

PaleMoon does the job for me, and on kernel 3.18.18 works ever so much faster! 8)

It's pale moon available thru USM?

In fact, recently I have been working with opera which gives me a lot of satisfaction with my slower Linux box. Opera is available thru USM.

Neko's slimjet module provided on the porteus forum,a Google-chrome adapted version, seems to fare well, but needed more comparative testing under xfce.

I imagine that the original chrome could be tweaked to be more performant?

I want my IE back...no, just kidding.

For various reasons, I don't like FF anymore.
And I have a Chrome allergy.
But it would be nice if we could have Midori as an option at "build.porteus.org"

USM..I know..

I have been working in the last few weeks with opera. Comparatively really fast to google-chrome and I did not even tried the turbo mode. My old MSI 340X laptop is now pleasant to use.

The ask me before accepting cookies is a revelation, especially when I wanted to use my gmail account under opera.

i kind of settled on FireFox in WINdoze...

I am trying to get into LINUX (again, lol) and i got exposed to "SeaMonkey" on using "puppy linux"...

i kinda liked seamonkey... quick and responsive, good for "general browsing".

On linux? firefox is okay... maybe i could try seamonkey on porteus, i dont know yet...
