SOLVED google-chrome red time line

Post#1 by francois » 12 May 2015, 14:34

Since a few weeks, the red time line of my google calendar is at the wrong place. It states that it is 4 hours later than the real hour. Some people around me have exactly the same problem.

Searching on the net I could not find a solution.

Do you have any ideas?

Might be wrong, but it may be related to UTC? Localtime vs UTC? why not give it a check? If it fixes the problem great! :)
If it does not and had nothing to do with it, then :(

Thanks tonio.

I finally found the solution:
In google calendar, at upper right there is the the little gear wheel > settings > change time zone from Toronto to Iqaluit, then save changes, then back to Toronto and save changes.
Everything got back to normal. There is no Montreal option for Canada. :(

I live in Montreal but since a few years there is no more Montreal choices in the time zones. Iqaluit is north with 6,000 souls, we are with the suburbs 4,000,000 souls in Montreal. I suspect the guys in Toronto to try have erased us from the map.

Sometime google-chrome: "c'est n'importe quoi". :x

I imagine that we will get thousands of view in porteus with this google-chrome calendar issue.

Good publicity. :D
