I tried it once and it works like a charm, like you said, when you know how to run it it's like s charm. A little graphical helper would be nice, e.g. that lets you use the mouse prior recording to set the x,y and width/height of the area to be recorded, just like a run-of-the-mill screenshot utility works. Since there are already many screenshot utilities, it should not be that hard to implement. Maybe it already exists?brokenman wrote:Most screen recording apps use ffmpeg as a backend.
