Just after the official release i made a marketing drive for Porteus. I submitted in as many places as i could find. It seems to have paid off slowly, although i think most of these links are from word of mouth. Porteus featured on some Brazilian magazine because i have had alot of emails from Brazilians. we are getting good exposure. Keep up the good work.

Review on distrowatch:

They say porteus is not very user friendly. Let's hope PPM new version will make a difference. Maybe someone should answer to that review (its kind of negative). Ahau, you are particularly good at that.

WTF?

While your there Ahau, you should let them know that Fanthom is the chief developer and the project is his .... they make it sound like this is my baby. I can live with the name 'developer' as i am developing applications, but they go too far.

How much can we trust the reviews of such a place if they can't even get their basic facts straight.
via a Porteus Package Manager, which is a serviceable if clunky utility for finding, downloading, and installing modules.
I agree a little ... hence my shame and rewriting of the tool.

common people... this is not my project. Porteus belongs to the community - no exceptions.
