Package development and optimization

Post#1 by soliday » 26 Feb 2013, 02:53

Individual packages (*.xzm) are merged with the live system when activated.
Is there a memory or performance difference between: many small XZM's versus few larger XZM's?
Prophecy is a guess that comes true, if it does not it is metaphor.

one large xzm should work faster (unconfirmed) and take less memory (confirmed) than many smaller xzm's.
the differences are marginal and wont be notable in normal porteus usage.
