Thanks. I will make a tutorial on how to do it for people that roll their own. But for most people using Porteus -v3.2rcX you can just update you browser through the update scripts (update-firefox) and it will automatically set DDG as the default (with the exception of Opera because I can`t get it to play nice.).
How do i become super user?

I started using DuckDuckGo to help donate and show appreciation for this os. :) Plus it's a lot lighter and friendlier than Google.

One thing I've noticed on old Opera in the v3.1 default search engine is "https://duckduckgo.com/?t=porteus&q=%s". Does it require "t=porteus" in the default browser url query string to work?
New to Linux but learning. Hoping to help out Porteus community. :)

This thread should be forked since this discussion on palemoon. You are all out of topic.

Sorry for stating it. 8)

It has been forked on the palemoon topic here http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=6395

Anyone thinking about donating to porteus is on the right thread. Please use duck to go as much as possible.

Thanks.

Don't worry. I made a donation 18.03.2017 and 08.07.2016 but I did not find myself in the list of donation.

The list is manually maintained by brokenman. Give him time. :)

https://blockchain.info/wallet/

I'm surprised BrokenMan doesn't have a Bitcoin address for donations as well.

I believe the limit is $10,000.00, but I could be wrong. Try it and let us know the results. :good:
