Yes. networkmanager will replace wicd. It's lighter and deps are actively maintained.

Zarfy is repeated in menu settings and system.
Thanks. A little too late to remove, the final ISO is uploading but will fix in an update.

I lack porteus category,
Porteus category was decided against in favor of a 'porteus settings centre' which will launch most Porteus apps.

the key question...........when it is released? :D
Hopefully you will be booting by tomorrow!

no testing and no released candidate before released??
Huh? Did you miss the rc1 and rc2?

I was referring the category porteus in menu for the native porteus soft, not for the program porteus settings centre, too much programs in menu system category for me.
I was referring to this http://porteus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=1223

what have you wanted to say with that if I have miss it rc1y and rc2? :(

well i donwload the new porteus and I go away to dismantle it :D

I was referring the category porteus in menu for the native porteus soft,
Yes, in place of this menu item, we put all porteus unique applications into 'Porteus settings centre' which helped to reduce the amount of 'system' menu items.
no testing and no released candidate before released?
The rc1 and rc2 were the testing versions (release candidates) of the final release. These first two are where we find all bugs and refine Porteus for the final release. In this final there were a few additions after rc2 but we felt they were necessary.
