Are you really sure you want to enter this adventure? Hahaha! I can help you, but it's not trivial I have to tell you. Do you have any Linux configuration (lib dependencies, script) knowledge?

P.S.: I made a very raw module. I'm learning how to configure it in order to put a menu, shortcuts, etc.

did include fvwm in my multi window manager module: http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=6468
but it is also quite raw...
the configs (~/.fvwm) can be viewed here: https://github.com/ncmprhnsbl/porteus-b ... uest/.fvwm
one question might be is: do you want to have a standalone fvwm module or maybe just use the xfce apps and run fvwm instead of xfce DE?
also check around the forum, as neko has made many ISOs featuring fvwm...

Here it is!

Fvwm 2.6.6 x64:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/b353hqj93 ... x86_64.xzm
(2.7 mb)

I put the following applications:
.LeadfPad
.PcmanFM
.LxTask

You'll probably want to put NetworkManagerApplet if you want to setup a wifi or change the default Ethernet connection. You'll also probably want to set an icon package. To do that you need to get an icon package (Adwaita, for example) and set it inside /usr/share/fvwm/.fvwm2rc . BTW, all Fvwm looking configuration is set inside this file.

P.S.: after boot is consuming 100 mb RAM. Nice :)

Oi, pmppinho. Here it works flawlessly. Just get original Porteus 3.2.2 x64 ISO, extract it to an USB stick, remove 003-xfce4.xzm from /porteus/base and put my 003-fvwm-x86_64.xzm inside. Reboot and done :)

Certo.

pmppinho wrote:Is it possible to get the blackbox or fluxbox on their own?
absolutely...
i just used the lxde module for the multiwm module because i found it easier to use lxdm to switch between them(the other DE
modules have slim)
so anyway here's an fluxbox module than can be used in addition to xfce:

@fulalas
i tried your fvwm, worked for me, looks better than my attempt, but seemed a little funky > some user configs were placed on the root(/) of the live filesystem...
some PATH issue maybe... :unknown:
i know fvwm can look pretty good ala austrumi, or nekos work, but managing this myself so far, has been beyond me...

@pmppinho
This is the APorteus FVWM version.
It was uploaded temporarily as a FVWM sample.

APorteus-FVWM_sv-v17.06.05-x86_64.iso (Language:Sweden ;693 M)
http://www.mediafire.com/file/z01zznc4c ... x86_64.iso
md5sum: dc8c6f885247bf10adf9bf02af989419 APorteus-FVWM_sv-v17.06.05-x86_64.iso

---------------------------------
Note 1:
APorteus is constructed with ArckLinux Packages based on Porteus frame.
Its completeness is low and it has some issues.
The ISO treatments are intended to be modified by each person himself.

Note 2:
FVWM has been already deleted from the menu of "APorteus ISO builder".

Thanks.
