Strange folders in /tmp with name ssh-*

Post#1 by Testuser » 17 Mar 2024, 16:00

Strange folders in /tmp with name ssh-* - ssh-XXXXXX4CXzY4 with files - agent.agent.1577, foldes created on every boot :( :(

Also could see 4-5 agetty (may be related to tty) files in the process list.

Any one knows why those ssh folders are created.

hi Testuser, maybe you have activated the /etc/rc.d/rc.sshd script daemon or you have some software that can reload it. if you have a list of the startup at boot time take a look on it

Hey Beny
Thanks much for the reply
I check and found xcape was autostarted on /home/guest/.config/autostart folder

Also, on rc.d folder rc.sshd file has no execution permission.

Then do not know how those folders are created. :( :wall:
