With the wifi, I would like to run without the actual 003-lxde or 003-kde which leaves me with the openbox environment. Installing networkmanager (the NetworkManager version of manjaro) nm-applet will result in a message of conflict between networkmanager and networkmanager-consolekit 1.0.8-2.
Code: Select all
root ~ # pacman -Qs networkmanager
local/libnm-glib 1.0.8-1
NetworkManager library
local/networkmanager-consolekit 1.0.8-2
NetworkManager with ConsoleKit support for non-systemd systems
local/networkmanager-openrc 20151014-1 (openrc-misc)
OpenRC networkmanager init script
local/networkmanager-qt 5.17.0-1 (kf5)
Qt wrapper for NetworkManager API
local/nm-connection-editor 1.0.10-1
NetworkManager GUI connection editor
root ~ #
What packages should I add to the openbox environment without lxde or kde to get the wifi running?

I believe I placed networkmanager-consolekit in 001 so you could get a network connection without any GUI. Included in that is nmtui-connect which starts an ncurses wireless connect dialog. Make sure networkmanager is running before.
