Kiosk 4.1 and Libreoffice

Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.

Kiosk 4.1 and Libreoffice

Post#1 by jassoo » 05 Oct 2016, 14:33

Hi

Firstly id like to thank you for amazing kiosk OS you have. :good:

Im trying to add libreoffice.xzm to Kiosk 4.1 ISO, but every time, when it boots. it gets stuck in porteus background picture before menu should appear.
I have used libreoffice from http://dl3.porteus.org/x86_64/current/modules/ with Manual Kiosk Customization instructions ( http://porteus-kiosk.org/kiosk-customization.html ).

Do i need to change something else ? or is it the 06-libreoffice.xzm that wont work with Kiosk version ?

I am also looking to add the LibreOffice module.

Can I use the "libreoffice-5.2.3.3-x86_64.xzm" module

from http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/Porteus-v3.2.2/modules/

???

Thanks
