Kiosk.iso -/rootcopy Folder where ?

Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

Kiosk.iso -/rootcopy Folder where ?

Dear all

Everybody wrote "put the /rootcopy folder in /Porteus/rootcopy".
But into the kiosk.iso, build with the konfiguration wizzard, there is no /Porteus folder. Where is the right place for the /rootcopy folder?

I am sorry about my english ;-(

Thanks
Best regards
sigi

hi sigi,

since 3.1. release everything must go to modules. /rootcopy is not supported anymore as it was not working for PXE boot.
please refer to this doc how to remaster ISO and create modules:
http://porteus-kiosk.org/kiosk-customization.html

thanks
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
