Acrobat

Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

Acrobat

Hi
Great to joint the Forum
I m newbie and am trying to get Kiosk personalized...Well we have special ap (web) that display PDF. that works fine except that i don't want scroll bar and toolbar, i wish full screen display.
Windows/firefox/adobe acrobat works fine...but hasn't the functionnality of Kiosk.

So my questions are:
1/ could we display full screen mode in Kiosk/firefox/native reader
2/ should we implement Adobe Acrobat in porteus-kiosk?
3/and the more important one : HOW

Thanks

Acrobat probably needs some extra deps to be resolved but maybe it will be enough for you to use 'presentation mode' of the built in firefox pdf viewer?
just click on the icon on the left to the printing.

btw: there is a known bug (which i reported to mozilla devs) - if you escape from pdf viewer fullscreen then firefox also exits fullscreen.

Hi Fanthom

Yes your proposal is certainly the simpliest way.
But i use the last version of Kiosk, in Firefox i found no icon to switch to "presentation mode"
Please could someone check this?

thanks.
