Missing programs in MATE

Post#1 by szaboa » 22 Jun 2014, 16:43

There are some missing programs in the MATE menu.

1./ Engrampa, this one doesn't start.
In the command prompt we get the following message:
(engrampa:12667): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.mate.engrampa.listing' is not installed

2./ Break reminder, this one doesn't start as well.
In the desktop file there is mate-typing-monitor for Exec, but it doesn't work.
In the command prompt, either.

Please run: glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas

Let me know if engrampa runs after this. For the Break reminder, I am not too sure. It works for me under 32 and 64bit. Engrampa also works but some people reported this problem. Roadie discovered the schemas need to be rerun in some cases.
