Dmesg warning given below. Noticed a 4 seconds delay in booting after 'crng init'. My booting time increased from 10.52 to nearly 15 seconds.

Needs attention. Going back to v4.10.8.

Your lucky on boot time because mind take's over 2 minute to boot up. The 3,2 rc5 only took about 15 second to boot up.
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

This should really be taken care of by updating your bios. Intel releases microcode updates directly. I will enable the feature in the kernel and use the intel-microcode upload method for those that can't update.
I have also problem - activating devel module for this kernel crashes my system.
Any hints as to why this might be? I am using the same module to build each day.

Does it mean that now I can't replace Porteus 3.2.2 kernel with kernel from Porteus 4.0.0?
