3.2 rc5 Cinnamon x86_64

Updated USM to USM Version 3.2.0
Updated USM databases.
Tried to download the flashplayer-plugin-11.2.202.635-x86_64-1alien module -> Fatal error / LIBS.TXT
Tried to download the flashplayer-plugin-11.2.202.635-x86_64-1_slonly module -> Fatal error / LIBS.TXT

Switched to the Update-flash approach.
Created module flashplayer-plugin-23.0.0.162-x86_64-1,xzm.
Activated the new flashplayer module.
Started Firefox.
URL http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ indicates "A plugin is needed to display this content".

Switched back to flashplayer-plugin-22.0.0.209-x86_64-1,xzm.
Rebooted, without saving changes. (the advantage of using a save.dat file :good: )
Started Firefox.
Flashplayer working again.

Once again, please be more descriptive with bug reports. The above report gives me VERY little to go on.

EDIT:
@ Blaze
I am trying to follow slackware 14.2 so as not to create more problems but this is a nice addition. The arrival of the new AMD driver is great news so I will probably include that. The base is now frozen so only bug fixes will be address in module 001,002

using XFCE just downloaded v3.2rc5
,I am getting old but the black and white and the background don't work for me, I just replace the from the 3.1 because there are no options out of the box.

What happened to the image editor(fixed added MTpaint) , the porteus menu, the QT V4l does not work, the script xpanelbottom will not work unless you logout, the switch user button does not work, is there a menu for the update entries,

I am unable to mloop mate rc5. Any other forum member with this problem? I have tried three times. It seems the iso is corrupted. Or ?

I mount iso of mate rc5 via /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-archive file="%U" without problems.

@Ed_P
First check if you have the firmware

Code: Select all

ls /lib/firmware/ | grep 7265
If only the D file exists can you please download this firmware and check if it works? Thanks.
https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/_media ... 0.14.0.tgz

EDIT:
Blaze if you think dhcpcd is the problem can you try:
dhcp=internal in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf

Was just trying out Vbox builder now and found when I choose Virtual Box or one with Guest additions, it prompts to download it. After it says it downloaded in seconds, there is nothing under /tmp/ called 05-devel.xzm and alerts fail to activate the module. Downloading the module from http://dl.porteus.org/i486/current/modules/ before running the process seems fine.

Even better. Blaze can you compile dhclient and remove dhcp. Then put in /etc/NetworkManager.conf
dhcp = dhclient

Restart networkmanager and test the connection.

Here is a script to update pepperflash directly from adobe. (Porteus-v3.2+ only)
https://transfer.sh/rBvFC/update-pepperflash

I have fixed the problem with 05_devel now. Thanks for the bug report.
