Hi
I tried Porteus LXQT yesterday from a USB disk but I noticed it didn't use hardware acceleration.
I checked Xorg log and saw that it didn't use direct rendering:

(WW) RADEON(0): Direct rendering disabled

What could be the problem?

Have you tried search word on duck to go or google with keywords?
Radeon hd 7790 direct rendering not working slackware and/or linux

Porteus is slackware, slackware is linux.

I've got psinfo_report and also Slacko's xorg log and xorg conf files.
I'm not sure Slacko uses hw acceleration because there are a lot of vesa entries in the log:
