BleachBit Doesn't Work Under 3.0 final [SOLVED]

Greetings:

Tested out on three flash drives running 32bit 3.0 Final XFCE, but Bleach-Bit as downloaded and installed from USM won't run.

Aside, I'm unable to turn a boot-repair .deb file (mention on Ubunto site) into xsm. Boot-repair is also not in USM.

I tried this and all it said was "/usr/bin/env: python: no such file or directory".

Just asking but is this BleachBit updated to operate in 3.0 final?

Thanks for reply but no go. :( Might have to do that In order to have XFCE 4.11 and USM both work in 3.0 final, I had to mix and match the core and kernel from 3.0 final with Xfce 4.11 and xorg from 3.0 rc2 (because 3.0 final comes with XFCE 4.10, not 4.11 with its added features).

In meanwhile I'm trying to find Bleachbit and Boot-Repair deb files to convert into xsm.

you need python
http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackw ... i486-1.txz
convert to xzm module

or activate module printing

Thanks very much for your input. Unfortunately all this source building stuff is much too techie for me so I'll just have to tough it out till a Bleachbit (and a Boot-Repair) xsm module from Slackware comes around. I do have a OpenOffice 4 xsm I don't see in USM's list which I'd be glad to submit if I knew how!

Aside, since KDE works with apps like Stellarium and Remote Desktop and VLC that need dependents in XFCE, I wonder if the same goes for that raw Slackware Bleachbit. That'd almost be cause for me to switch except I'd miss XFCE's desktop tricks.

Thanks!

For works BleachBit you need
download the package that freestyler posted
and the package I said. You do not need to compile, only install.

You must have 007-printing activated to run that pdrogram. :)

Yes, thanks! That did the trick, though it was a module I didn't think I needed as I'm experimentally cramming Porteus with lots of documents and mini-videos on a 2gig flash, plus allowing for a 100meg free disk clearance. At the get-go I didn't install the printing module because I wouldn't be printing anything, but I guess that module also does double duty with other apps. I was having reservations that my particular configuration (using the core and kernel from 3.0 final with xorg and XFCE from 3.0 rc2 so that I'd have a fully functional mPlayer along with XFCE 4.11) was the hang up. What I'd like to do is combine the bleach and python modules into one xsm and submit to the USM library (like the OpenOffice xsm I found) so that newbies won't be turned off treasure hunting for such remedies as I did, and if it works I'll do the same for Boot-Repair which was worked wonders with my Mint days. Now if I could only find a way to run Stellarium in XFCE here like in Mint!!

Again thanks for the help!!
