Unlikely. It's a high speed cable connection.brokenman wrote:If it is hanging in these places then your connection is unstable not the app.

Thank you.brokenman wrote:BTW IMO I think the default rerun time period should be 6 hrs not 24 hrs.
Will change it for next release.
Ah! Forgot about the extra key Linux adds. ctrl+C is all DOS/Windows systems use.Cut / copy and paste from the USM terminal window not possible.
Unconfirmed. ctrl + shift + C works fine.
Sarcasm doesn't suit you.App beginning to seem unstable.
Feel free to download a stable alternative.
I'm ok with 3 hours.3 hrs would probably work also.
In unix ctrl + c was traditionally the 'kill' or 'interrupt' stroke to end programs in the terminal. ctrl + v traditionally stood for 'verbatim' insert. The different key combinations hold the text in different buffers. Think of it like, ctrl + c is the system wide GUI buffer and ctrl + shit + c is for terminals (although not all). ctrl + v is GUI paste and either ctrl + shift + v or 'shift insert ' is for terminals.Ah! Forgot about the extra key Linux adds.
If I am not mistaken all windows versions still support 'ctrl + insert' to copy and 'shift insert' to paste.ctrl+C is all DOS/Windows systems use
Sorry. It was a reflex to a snide remark.Sarcasm doesn't suit you.
Brokenman, maybe there is one more variable which may not have been tried. Config fiile with:brokenman wrote: Bogomips I just tried vlc on i486 from a fresh KDE install and couldn't reproduce the error.

Yes. Please see first few lines of code in previous post.brokenman wrote:Do you mean you've altered the path for these directories in the config file?
4 might be better. It is consistent with logs durations I think.brokenman wrote:I'm ok with 3 hours.3 hrs would probably work also.
OK. Thanks fo rthat. But:In unix ctrl + c was traditionally the 'kill' or 'interrupt' stroke to end programs in the terminal. ctrl + v traditionally stood for 'verbatim' insert. Yes, that got written wrong. It should have been "is in all DOS/Windows systems that I have used". They also support "shift+del" to cut.If I am not mistaken all windows versions still support 'ctrl + insert' to copy and 'shift insert' to paste.ctrl+C is all DOS/Windows systems use
I understand you took it that way but it was meant as an honest observation.Sorry. It was a reflex to a snide remark.Sarcasm doesn't suit you.

Yes you're right. This is a hybrid. A terminal wrapped in a GUI and I am of the mind to change it. After the update finishes none of the common USM commands will work. No variables are exported here. In any case if you stick to the 'ctrl + insert' (copy) and 'shift + insert' (paste) you should be good in all scenarios.USM GUI's Terminal window is not the same as LXTerminal's window. Ctrl+shift+C doesn't not work in it.
