As stated by the changelog:
"- all scripts and docs updated with new name - Porteus. please help us with finding typos and still exisiting, unnecessary references to old name: slax-remix"

please post findings related to old name in this thread for 64bit edition.
we are aware of /porteus/slaxsave.zip and /etc/rc.d/rc.slax so please dont report about these two.

Thanks for your help.

Line 26-27 of /usr/lib/liblinuxlive (as of 64-bit V1.0 RC2)

# this will be replaced by build script, so never change the following line!
LIVECDNAME="slax"

Can/should this be changed to something else? I haven't checked it in 32-bit....it may be there as well.

This variable is not used.

Why?
fanthom has re-written our LLS without using this variable.

You can remove it without problem.

yep - we use liblinuxlive for modules creation/activation only.
i think we could leave this variable as a tribute to our parent distro.
