Hi,

Skype do not start even if successfully installed.
Returned an error in a konsole

Hi,
as it is a bug for me and I discovered a existing exchange between other users I posted in both.
You may then decide to remove one of them.

Pls re-download Porteus modules from the download page. fanthom has re-package it.
If still cannot work then you may follow my steps here:-

I have the exact same problem in 1.2 RC2.

Hi,
I just tried it now with the last rebuild skype 4.0.7 but I still got this error on my Porteus 1.2 64 bits :
guest@porteus:~$ skype
/usr/bin/skype: line 3: 7421 Segmentation fault /usr/share/skype/lib32/ld-linux.so.2 --library-path /usr/share/skype/lib32/ /usr/share/skype/skype
