pardon the ignorance, but been having a go and failing miserably. Anyway someone can show me how? Extracted the iso on Ubuntu and looking at this....- blacklisted drm kernel driver (if any is used) in your_module/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
- copied 003-settings.xzm/etc/X11/xorg.conf-vesa and saved as your_module/etc/X11/xorg.conf

Re: Blinking cursor - black screen
Update:
Got some DELL DVI-I to VGA adaptors P/N: 941480-0L and that has solved the boot to black screen on all my via based thin clients, with Porteus, Porteus KIOSK (3.7.0 didn't work either) and others.
