Recently presented with a white screen and lock with red circle when booting to a predefined home page. What does this mean?

I did. Could it be a certificate issue?

Perhaps your homepage loads content from other website (iframe, cross-domain magic)?
In this case you need to whitelist other website too.

Please post your kiosk config (remove passwords) and i'll check it,

Found the problem. Downloading certs from a site that was redirected to HTTPS and hence a trust issue as the certs could not be downloaded to trust the HTTPS site
