Cant mount removable device [SOLVED (try format)]

Hi,
I allow kiosk users to work with removable devices (usb stick in my case).
In my config :
removable_devices=yes

After insert device kisok show message : device mounted ...
But if I click in my aplication to file input and try open mounted device getting message : permision denied are you root ?
Any suggestins how to enable removable devices ? removable_devices=yes in config isnt enough.

Thanks :) Porteus is great

Hello trash,

I cant recreate your issue. Please provide more details:
1) is your stick formatted with FAT or XFS filesystem? If XFS then all files on the stick must have 1000:1000 ownership.
2) are you using standard Kiosk or one of the variants: Cloud/ThinClient?

If you wont be able to resolve this issue then please send me your kiosk config to support@porteus-kiosk.org.

Thank you.
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
1) It was FAT32
2) Standart kiosk

After change file format to NTFS - working. And back to FAT32 still working. Some kind of bug with my USB device i gues.

Thanks a lot, best regards - Tomas
