A function I'd like to see added is the ability to programmatically power down the display as well as the computer itself. Preferably, this should be doable from JavaScript code talking to something "outside" the browser. Alternatively using a daemon listening on its own network port for a "powerdown" command. For the display, telling it to power down using the CEC signal of the HDMI connector would be succifient. When the Kiosk is started, it could then also send a CEC signal to the display to turn it on as well. This can then be combined with wake-on-LAN to remotely power up the computer.
