In the menu click on Preferences/Razorqt settings/Session configurator Click on the autostart button. Click 'add' and then choose the script that you want to start. Tick the 'wait for panel' checkbox. In the name section write synclient. This will add a file called /home/guest/.config/autostart/syn...

Re: Mouse pad option

PS: You can see who you really are by opening a fresh console and typing: whoami root@porteus:~# whoami root So about your strange Desktop dilemma. cat /home/quest/Desktop/ Is 'quest' a new user you created and forgot to give a home directory or is it a typo and you mean 'guest'? If it is 'guest' t...

Re: Mouse pad option

You can place a link (commonly called symlink) on your desktop by doing the following. Open a console (also called terminal) and enter: chmod +x /path/to/my/script.sh ln -s /path/to/my/script.sh /home/guest/Desktop/Myshortcut.sh The first line makes sure the script is executable. The second creates...

Re: Mouse pad option

@EdP did you ever create a /mnt/sda1/scripts folder in qemu virtual session? did you ever put you script there? if yes then you must use 'rootcopy=/mnt/sda1/scripts' chatcode instead of 'rootcopy=/mnt/sdb1/scripts' as it looks to me that /dev/sdb drive does not exist in virtual session. if you are ...

Re: Mouse pad option

@EdP i have an impression that /dev/sdb1 does no exist in qemu session. I get the same error with /mtn/sdb1/ and I can access /mnt/sdb1/ once Porteus is up under QEMU. /dev/sdb1 does exist when you boot on real PC and touchpad.sh gets executed properly (it just does not do the job you would expect)...
