The big distributions have some pop-up window the first time they boot. Why not having ours? If you want a browser click here...
... If you have enough of these instructions click here. This could be on the iso side. The only disadvantage would be for the cd users. :)

brokenman might think this would be a good idea and provide it for 4.1 :)

Or simply once porteus is installed some kind of update-packages or update-porteus with questions.

Then people would install the iso and be instructed to locate modules in the modules directory. 2) Another way would be at the installation or booting phase of ...

[How to] manually upgrade 3.5 base modules

1) /etc/mtab is no longer used, breaking auto-login (have a solution, will make separate topic) The link to the topic would be appreciated. Thanks. 2) command: setup-pman will probably break this by overwriting mirrorlist. note. mirrorlist is uncommented so, perhaps check though it for your closest ...

So still using nemesis. :D Did you update to the most recent base modules updates by ncmprhnsbl, or are your running on your january installation? Are you using brokenman lxde modules or did you built your own on top of xorg from scratch.

low ressource computer: your setup to maximize your box
