Remove everything but browser from Porteus 32 bit

What you're asking for doesn't make much sense considering how Porteus (non-Kiosk) works -- each extra program is a completely separated module. As Ed_P said, you'd better get a Firefox module from the link above. :good:

Wine module to include .wine configuration folder

Yeah, you need lib32-compatible: http://www.mediafire.com/file/61cm1x2dw ... bs-x86.xzm

I have a bigger version (45 MB) of this module. I can upload it if this one doesn't work for you.

What's your favorite file manager?

Engrampa can't handle some file types, so I imagine that this is the reason we still have 7zFM inside 002-xorg.

Testing nemesis update (Migration to Artix)

However, icons are missing on the desktop. Only blurred icons with an x in the center. In thunar, no icons are present. I'm facing the same problem when building Xfce from scratch . I have no idea how to fix it. Calling update-cache doesn't fix it. The problem is so weird that even booting in AF mo...

nvidia-drivers not working with geforce gt 740

I know this is not 340.xx, but you can try anyway since it costs just one boot: nvidia-304.137-x86_64

Wine module to include .wine configuration folder

Do you really need the GeckoMono part of Wine? If not, you can simply try this version: https://sourceforge.net/projects/wine/f ... 0Packages/ (need to convert from txz to xzm). After executing it for the first time, just cancel all the dialogs and you're good to go.

002-xorg -> Xorg 1.19.3 + Mesa 17.1.0 + plugins

@raja, have you followed the tutorial I sent you? For new Intel HD graphics card you need a newer libva that doesn't come with Porteus 3.2.2. As long as I understand, libva decodes the video, and it sends the set of pixels to a 2D billboard rendered in OpenGL. So, although the final image is rendere...

LXDE for Porteus 3.2.2 x86_64

jssouza, glad to inform you, a window message popped up when I inserted an USB disk, offering to open the file manager just like in Windows. I noticed this behaviour first time in Linux. What is your trick? I believe this is a file manager setting. But it's weird that this is the first time you're ...

@raja, running videos with GPU assist has little to do with Mesa. You need libva and a good video player with the right flags set (I recommend Mpv, instead of MPlayer). Here's a tutorial: How to watch videos with GPU assistance . Although in this tutorial I recommend using Mpv together with SMPlaye...

LXDE for Porteus 3.2.2 x86_64

@raja, this display behavior isn't related to LXDE, but probably to 002-xorg module. I know this because I've create many DEs/WMs modules and they all behave like this even when they don't have support/setting to deal with power manager.
