Even not in boot time jackd doesn't start. I typed : jackd -R -d alsa -r 44100 and I got : jackd ALSA: Cannot open PCM device alsa_pcm for playback Something else is already running on alsa device. Does porteus starts esd or something else at boot time? Sure qjackctl will face the same issue if ano...

Just thanks a lot

Thanks to all contributers of this project,

I've been trying a lot of different distribution and Porteus is so far away the easyest way to have something quickly running.

Easy to custom and thought for devloppers.

Once again, thanks a lot :) .

Launch sshd automatically at boot time [SOLVED]

hi all,

I want sshd to be run automatically when connected on a network.

I know that I can generate keys as root by the ssh-keygen -A command and
I can start it with the absolute path by the /usr/sbin/sshd start command.

But I don't know how to automate this.

Thanks by advance.
