Re: From almost no privacy to private information to be sold

This is sadly the case; besides the NSA, FBI, and CIA, there is another agency that is hidden and it also spies, but without the fame of the others. What bothers most people is that they [NSA, CIA, FBI] never catch any criminals, only the regular people are terrified of them. They create some malwa...

Technically, yes, but all these matters are connected and when we want to talk about the real often hidden reasons we have to get to a broader discussion base. xD

^ And apparently most or to many folks in the EU countries forgot the 100ds of years the Otoman empire or other islamic leaders trying to occupy all of Europe for the Islam. Possible new maps of the middle east: https://leftymitt.com/blog/2016/02/25/future-middle-east-map/ I apologize if I am beating a dead horse, and also have not finished reading the books. It is a tough world! Cheers! No its okay. I agree that the reason has been the Otoman empire and after that the...

Re: From almost no privacy to private information to be sold

Beijing has rejected President Obama's criticism of its plan to make tech companies put backdoors in their software and share their encryption keys if they want to operate in China. Funny the USA complaining when other World powers want backdoors in Software. But when the NSA or anyone of 5eyes wan...

Re: Automated screenshot?

Finally I realized the errors of my way, and why 3.2.2 (and newer) won't start: initrd wants the sgn file in a folder named "/porteus/", just having /Porteus:3.2.2/ won't work... So yes, *magic is not by default for me. Because not enough time to setup the new system the way I want. After the ...

Dank Dir und thanks Donald, I know that imagemagick (or GraphicsMagick xD) "GraphicsMagick is a fork of ImageMagick, emphasizing stability of both programming API and command-line options." Re: Automated screenshot?

hi rava seem you have to use crontab to run a script that allow to take a screeshoot every x time... Coding the script is not the issue, but none of the two programs do a screenshot fully automated, they both want the user to save the file. That's the issue, not starting the screen shooter at time ...

Automated screenshot?

I have with my 3.1 XFCe x86-64 Porteus two programs that can take a screen shot: xfce4-screenshooter and mtpaint. Both can be started from the terminal, which is what I want... but both are not able to do that fully automatic, as in: start up, take the screenshot and save it in a given folder, then ...

Re: Porteus-v3.2.2 bug reports here

^ "NeoGRUB is an implementation of GRUB4DOS" Wow!! I use to use Grub4DOS until I switched to Grub2Win for EFI support. It's still on my old netbook if I'm not mistaken. Let me check and see what I had for Porteus on Grub4DOS. I also did not know that... So, would you recommend me installing a newer...
